随着媒体技术发展的日新月异,我们的生活有了巨大的变化。我们可以随时随地与世界上任何角落的人沟通。跨空间交流的实现,使我们了解到不同社会的不同文化。而在现实世界中,我们也能在同一个城市中感受到不同的文化。单一文化已不合时,对不同文化的相互理解,这才是在现今社会最重要的能力。
我们坚信设计要反映出现代人的生活状况与生存环境,所以我们所设计的作品都以尊重他人的文化为宗旨。然而在现在这个多元文化交汇的社会,将古典文化直接反映在设计作品上已远远不够。无论是城市规划,建筑设计还是室内设计,我们都将追求以最新最现代的技术手法,阐释不同文化的独特特征。

The development of media technology largely influences in changing our human activities. We can communicate with others on the other side of the globe in an instant. It realizes global communication or virtual traveling on the internet, enabling us to understand different culture and their society from any places in the world. As well, in the real world, we can easily experience different culture in the metropolitan cities.
The persistence of the single culture is not accepted on this situation.Mutual understanding is one of most important abilities these days. We believe that design should be reflected from present human activities and their environment. We appreciate their original culture on the process of design. However, in such a multi-cultural society, the design reflected directly from classic culture is not appropriate. We would like to pursue the contemporary interpretation of their culture by challenging to apply new technology and method through the urban, architectural and interior design project.
odd received AD 100 award "100 top architecture and design talents in China" in 2015, 2017 and 2019,in 2020 ,odd shortlisted restaurant&bar design awards,recived CHINA INTERIOR DESIGN ANNUAL TOP 100. Many projects were published in well-known interior magazines 'Interior Design", "AD" ,"ElleDecoration" and " Better Homes and Gardens", and on design website "Designboom" ,:yinji” "Cool Hunting" and "gooood" .

珠宝世界的对立与统一——对于同一材料的不同表现形式的探索。
The unity of opposites in the Jewelry field——an exploration of different expressions for the same material
本次Yin新店——王府中环店,是在原有店铺基础上的升级。店铺回归本心,室内设计采用2014年成立初期时的黑白色调,亦能衬托珠宝饰品的金属色泽。“未来之道”是本次店铺升级的主题,通过对于对立统一哲学的探究,展望品牌的发展之道。为此我们在空间设计中做了许多的研究与尝试,希望通过造型与材料的配合,更加贴合YIN隐的独特理念。
The new store of Yin ——a Chinese Jewelry Brand in WF CENTRAL is upgraded from the original shop in the same shopping mall. The store is back to its origin, with interiors designed in black and white from the early years in 2014, which also highlights the metallic color of the jewelry. The new store uses the future as the main theme and through the exploration of the philosophy, looks forward to the development of the brand. We have done a lot of research and attempts, hoping that through the combination of modeling and materials, it will be more suitable to the concept of the brand.
店铺外立面采用两种不同肌理质感的软石材料,使得大面积的白色墙面具有细节避免单调感。通过阳角以及拼接处的无缝处理,形成连续且富有变化的设计语言。
The shop facade is made of two different textures of soft stone, which allows the large white walls to have more details to avoid being monotonous. The seamless treatment of the corners and joints creates a continuous and varied design style.
为更加契合品牌理念,我们选用了开采于太行山脉的花岗岩原石,并将接近一吨的原石进行切割,作为店内入口处艺术展台的支撑。一半保留石头自然生长的岩体肌理,另一半打磨为光滑镜面质感。品牌LOGO仿佛纹身般刻入石材,稳稳承载着当季新品珠宝展柜。自然石材本身的质感碰撞与外立面人造软石的两种纹理对比展示,既展现出同种材质的不同可能性,又传递出自然生长与人工介入的对比与统一之美。
In keeping with the brand's concept, granite stones quarried in the Taihang Mountains are chosen, and nearly a ton of rough stone cuts to support the show stand at the shop entrance. Half of the stone retains its natural texture and the other half is polished to a smooth mirror texture. The brand logo is engraved into the stone as its tattoo, carrying the display of the season's new jewelry steadily. The contrasting textures of the natural stone and the soft stone on the façade show us the different possibilities of the same material while conveying the beauty of contrast and unity between natural growth and artificial intervention.
